The Old Stone Cottage


My daughter traveled to Forest Park in Portland, Oregon this past spring, and took some amazing photos. This painting was inspired by one of these photos - an old stone cottage on a hillside, in the middle of a mossy woods. I had such a good time painting the stones - each one is slightly different. This is a large 22" x 30" watercolor piece.

    I really like that painting, Betsy. I happen to be from Portland, Oregon and it is a beautiful state. Incidentally, I actually own one of your early drawings. :^)
